An exhibition of paintings by Macon artist Marthalyn Fortson, will be on display this weekend! The jewel-like abstract paintings explore both subtle and strong color interactions with the use of translucent shapes in complex compositions that relate directly to the natural light of nature. The show also features ceramic sculptures by Amy McCullough and pieces by Middle Georgia Wood Turners

Macon Film Guild presents a screening of the Romanian drama “Graduation”. The movie lasts 128 minutes and is in Romanian with English subtitles. “Graduation” is about a small town doctor whose central source of pride is the teenage daughter Eliza, who has been offered a scholarship to Cambridge. But to accept that scholarship, Eliza has to pass one final exam, however chaos arises.
