If you’re searching for fun ways to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day all weekend, the search is over! This weekend will be full of specials, live music, quality food, and great times in #DTMac.
Start your weekend of celebrating St. Patrick by participating in Macon Tennis Association’s fundraiser for their Net Therapy program. This program currently benefits kids with autism, local veterans, and active military with the physical, mental and social well-being that playing tennis offers. In the future, they hope this program will grow to benefit more underserved communities, and your participation in the fundraiser on Saturday can help! Register here to participate, grab your rackets and donations, and meet at the Tatnall Square Park Tennis Center at 2:00 for this round-robin style tennis tournament!
After playing tennis, you will probably be ready to relax and hear some tunes, so head over to Bearfoot Tavern! They will have live music starting at 2:30 on Saturday that will go until around midnight. Don’t worry, the festivities don’t end on Saturday! They will have a band on Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 in addition to food and drink specials all weekend. Speaking of drinks, Reboot Retrocade & Bar will be doing $1 off Jameson, Car Bombs, Irish Coffee, and Guinness on the 16th and 17th.
Looking for Irish style food? You’re in luck! Ocmulgee Brewpub will have a Corned Beef Hash Burger with a fried egg on top all weekend. If you go by on St. Patrick’s Day, they are serving their Swampy Scotsman at 50% off – that’s less than $3.00 for a pint! Be sure mention this ad for the discount, and order $3 French fries while you’re there. Just Tap’d will also be serving Irish style beers on draft from Omaha Brewing all weekend, and they have a green drink for you on St. Patrick’s Day only! They will be serving specially crafted $4 Orange Kiwi Mimosas, and by wearing green, you receive 10% off your tab.
Once you’re done with your Mimosa from Just Tapp’d, go by Travis Jean Emporium! You will can serenaded by the talented David Dingess as he plays from 12:30 – 2:00 P.M. Don’t forget to show off your green to get 10% off, and they will be open from 12:00 – 4:00. To continue shopping, go down the street to Comics Plus where any item with the color green will be 10% off.
