There are so many fun events happening over the course of the next week in Macon with the International Cherry Blossom Festival! To add to the excitement, we want to highlight some of the exciting happenings in #DTMac for you to add to your list of Cherry Blossom Festivities!
It wouldn’t be known as the Pinkest Party if there wasn’t pink food, right? Both weekends of the Festival, Parish will be having a “Pretty in Pink Brunch” featuring pink pancakes, pink mimosas, face painting, and live music! During their brunch on March 31st, Parish will be having a drag show. The celebration doesn’t end with brunches, they are also having live music and Cherry Blossom Signature cocktails every night through March 31.
Have you ever enjoyed pink pizza? This may be your weekend! Doughboy Pizza will be turning their dough pink, and they are open both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. You can also join Fatty’s Pizza for their annual pink pizza throughout the Cherry Blossom Festival!
Follow up your pink meal with pink drinks! There are a few special pink drinks for you to try over the next week. Reboot Retrocade & Bar is bringing back their popular $7 Cherry Blossom Cosmo, and you don’t want to miss it. Don’t forget to go by Just Tap’d to try their Cherry Blossom Sangria with white peaches and dark cherries, available all month long! Ocmulgee Brewpub will have their famous Cherry Blossom Pilsner on tap, and remember to check out the shirts while you’re there! They will have Cherry Blossom Pilsner t-shirts for sale as your souvenir from the festival.
If you’re looking for festive sweet treats, Amanda’s Cakery will have a two-day-event on March 29th and 30th where Cherry Blossom Festival cupcakes will be $3.00 each! While you’re in between festival events, pick up a quality cup of coffee or tea from Taste & See to help you stay energized.
