It’s fall y’all! Start your october off right and head to Downtown Macon! This First Friday there are many events for you and your friends/family to enjoy.


First Friday Flow
$10 | 5:30PM
This is an hour long Vinyasa Flow class set to music and movement! It’s a great start to your weekend and a perfect stop before you head out to enjoy walking the streets during First Friday events.
This event is $10 for drop-ins and $5 for Sparks Members. Also, bring a friend for free and grab a free Chair Massages from our massage therapist!

Come out to the Macon City Auditorium patio for Drink specials and music provided by Q106.3 and Andrew “Pinky” Harman! Help welcome home the SPHL’s 2017 President’s Cup Champions, the Macon Mayhem!

First Friday Jazz on the Sidewalk
6 – 8PM
Jazz musicians perform on the sidewalk in front of Travis Jean to help showcase the official poster of the 14th Annual Jazz and Arts on Riverdale. Featured artist Sarah Tinsley Parker will be inside, showcasing her new art. Hosted by Jazz Association of Macon.

Full Moon Float
7 – 10PM
The Full Moon Float is happening one last time! See the moon rise over the river as you paddle and float from Amerson River Park to the Spring Street Boat Ramp. Sign up by calling Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions at 478-733-3386

Middle GA Ghost Hunt
$50 | 9PM – 2AM
Are you ready to be a paranormal investigator for a night? Middle Georgia Ghost Hunts offers structured ghost hunting events throughout the Middle Georgia area. Your time with us offers an experience that is memorable and impressive. All tickets must be purchased online. Everyone present for this ghost hunt will have access to the most innovative equipment offered in the field and have access to an extremely haunted location in downtown Macon.

Join the Jazz Association of Macon and Travis Jean as they present the Jazz & Arts on Riverdale 2017 Featured Artist: Sarah Tinsley Parker for an Opening Reception. Sarah Tinsley will be signing her Festival Poster and there will be a jazz band on hand to get you in the mood!

Book Release Party for The Blues in Black & White

Kirk West has just released his second photographic coffee table book, The Blues in Black & White. Gallery West is hosting a book release party and book signing with free drinks and light appetizers. The new book covers Kirk’s time spent in Chicago following the blues scene there during the 70’s and 80’s.
